Performance Management
Our performance management philosophy focuses on accelerating employee performance and development aligned with our organizational strategy and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). At the heart of this philosophy is fostering regular and frequent check-in conversations between employees and their managers, where two-way feedback, career aspirations, and overall well-being are discussed. Our performance management philosophy embraces a growth mindset and supports a culture of engagement, inclusion, empathy, integrity, and agility.
Regardless of your clinical specialty, you'll participate in an orientation program that will help prepare you for your role. You will receive a comprehensive introduction to VNS Health and ongoing professional development, whether in a classroom, online, or under the guidance of your manager. Our generous tuition reimbursement policy provides financial support for undergraduate, graduate, and professional certification studies pursued outside of the organization.
To support the culture of continuous learning at VNS Health for all professionals, the Clinical Development Center was established to engage students, attract new graduates, and provide opportunities for existing employees to advance up the clinical ladder. To accomplish this, the Center focuses on:
- Clinical and non-clinical students from colleges and certificate programs who are placed with expert preceptors as they develop competencies in their field. We engage with students to support their recruitment to VNS Health upon their graduation.
- Our staff teaching in the college classroom setting.
- Our education, training and programming which supports the transition to practice requirements of new clinical graduates as they grow from novice to expert clinician.
- Support of novice to advanced clinicians up the clinical ladder with educational offerings and tuition benefit rewards.
- Our employees’ career aspirations to pursue a clinical pathway.
To help new team members succeed, VNS Health provides the right tools: a robust orientation and an onboarding process to get you grounded.
