Notice of Use of Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT)

In accordance with New York City Local Law 144 of 2021, VNS Health is providing notice that its candidate review platform uses a tool that may be considered an “automated employment decision tool (AEDT)” within the meaning of that law. VNS Health’s candidate review platform uses a feature known as Candidate Ranking using Role Fit. This feature uses AI technology to help match candidate skills and experiences to those listed in a job description, and provides a ranking of highest- to lowest-matching candidates. VNS Health has implemented this technology in order to assess candidate suitability in a more efficient manner.
As required by Local Law 144, our vendor iCIMS (which [hosts/maintains] VNS Health’s candidate review platform) has conducted a bias audit of this candidate ranking feature within the last year. A summary of the results, including the data source, number of candidates included, and the date we began using the tool, is available at https://www.trust.icims.com
