A Culture of Inclusion

We value the strength of each VNS Health team member so you can feel comfortable bringing your whole and unique self to work. Our culture of inclusion is the foundation of diversity and belonging in our workplace, and features employee resource groups, education around awareness and mitigating unconscious bias, and other strategies to support each employee’s experience within our organization. Our inclusive teams reflect and represent our patients, members and communities we serve.

I am very proud of the fact that VNS Health is a multicultural organization. I am proud of how we embrace our diversity, learn from each other, and use that knowledge to grow stronger both as individuals and as an organization. We know that having a diverse and inclusive workforce makes VNS Health a better partner in the communities we serve, and it also makes us a better place to work.

Employee Resource Groups

Our Pathway to Progress

Our employee resource groups (ERGs) play a key role in our overall inclusive culture and the progress we are making. All groups are open to team members who have an interest in participating, and we’re continuing to expand the number of ERGs at VNS Health.

Out@VNSHealth

Provides a space for team members to network, introduce new ideas, and receive mentoring and career development. In addition, Out@VNS Health is committed to providing equitable, culturally competent, and welcoming care to LGBTQ+ patients, health plan members, and their families.

TransAction

The group aims to raise awareness of AAPI culture, heritage, and issues while creating a sense of belonging. It provides various opportunities to enhance the visibility of AAPI history, advocate for the community's needs within VNS Health workplace, foster connections, celebrate achievements, and contribute to a more equitable workplace.

Military Veterans Alliance

Provides VNS Health team members who are active reservists, National Guard members, veterans, individuals currently serving in the military, or family members of someone who has served or is serving a place where they can feel supported. The group provides a safe space to ask questions, receive guidance, attend quarterly speaker presentations, and much more.
